Oldie but goodie
This is a simple Father's Day card I made for my uncle. It's never too late to share :-) Actually I'll do my best to post the pictures as I create the cards.

Update

It's been a hectic couple of weeks, but I know God has a plan and everything will happen when He wants it to. I had to postpone my June class until August. I've been working on a few orders and projects. I made a beautiful baby scrapbook for my sister-in-law (she loved it) and a few sets of cards.

I'm hoping to have a class in August. I will let you know date and time. In the meantime, I am enjoying not having to go to work.

XOXO,
Nelle

Open House (June 2010)

I had my first open house on June 5th. I had seven guests show up (not bad). I talked a little about the company Stampin' Up and how I got started. I demonstrated how to create a basic card and then had the guests create an easel card for post its (see picture below). I got the idea from the 2010 Stamp Camp and my cousin, Carline. She is my upline and my cheerleader--LOL. I can't wait for my first Stamp class which will be at the end of June.

Introduction

Welcome to my blog. I am so excited! I am new to this and I have a lot to learn...

I am an elementary school teacher. I've taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. Next school year, I'll be teaching 3rd grade. Yayyyy. One of my many goals is to earn a doctorate degree in educational leadership. I got married 18 months ago to the love of my life and we hope to start a family some time in the near future :-)

I started scrapbooking while I was in college. I enjoyed it a lot, but due to my demanding schedule and everything else going on in my life at the time, I stopped. I was starting to feel overwhelmed. I started a teaching job and went back to school for my Master's. Last January after the earthquake in Haiti, I decided that I needed to start scrapbooking and writing again. In the process I actually found a new love--cardmaking. My wonderful cousin introduced me to Stampin' Up and I am now hooked. LOL. I recently became a demonstrator and I'm looking forward to sharing my projects with you.

XOXO,

Nelle
